CONSTRUCTION

Charity Construction Projects Program

DSEAP International was founded in 1990 on the basis of helping deserving families, individuals and children who are struggling financially. 90% of our funding comes directly from the founder Mr. Davis Hidayat, as well as donations in the form of money, food and/or toiletries. We do not receive any funding from the United States government. A large part of our non-profit organization is dedicated to construction projects in Pakistan. Our volunteers help build new homes and repair roof damage for families who could otherwise not afford to pay for the repairs. The organization’s volunteers have also helped to construct and install hand pumps so remote villages have access to running water.

New Home Construction Projects

In developing countries with little access to assistance from their government, families whose homes have been destroyed due to natural disasters have very few places to turn to. DSEAP International provides support, both monetarily and through construction, to rebuild the homes of families who have lost everything. Giving families access to quality housing and the basic necessities of cooking, hygiene and safety is of the utmost importance to our organization and volunteers. With a safe place to come home to every night, these families can begin to focus on other important things in their life such as school, work and an overall brighter future.

Roof & Repair Damage

DSEAP International is also available to assist families and individuals living in unsafe homes. Whether due to a natural disaster or decay, our volunteers help repair and upgrade homes in the most desperate. From new roof construction projects to repairing cracked foundation and installing new appliances, we’ll rebuild the structure of the home to make sure it is safe and livable. We are dedicated to ensuring all people have access to adequate, safe shelter – the most basic human need.

Hand Pump Project

In the remote villages of Pakistan, thousands of families and individuals live without easy access to fresh, clean running water. Often times, women have to walk miles to get to the nearest source of water to use for drinking, laundry, bathing and watering crops. DSEAP International has expanded our construction project portfolio to now include installing modern, efficient hand pumps in remote villages so the community can have access to running water whenever they need it.

Community School Building Project

Finally, DSEAP International has purchased 20 plots of land in Karachi, Pakistan, which we plan to use to build schools open to the children in the surrounding villages. These privately owned schools will provide a free education and our organization will pay for all the supplies and books. Our school construction project will enable thousands of children to have more hope for a brighter future.
